The Room has opened its doors recently and has quickly become a meeting point for anyone who happens to be in the south of Milan. Open only for dinner and after dinner, it specializes in gourmet street food, which basically means that its cooks prepare classic sandwiches served in a more elegant way and with the addition of special ingredients such as horseradish cream cheese. Even if these courses seem delicious, we suggest you to go there at night. From the exterior, The Room may look shabby but, trust us, the interior is something special! The Room is furnished with an eye to details. An example of this attention are the chairs that welcome the guests at the entrance: one, for instance, is made from a green briefcase and another one from a saddle. The customer finds himself plunged in an atmosphere made of intimate soft lights, music lounge and a large post-industrial scale placed in the middle of the room that connects the lower level to the upper one.

The nights here are always animated by some special events: a burlesque show, a swing and jazz evening … there’s always something for everyone’s taste. Look at the calendar on the website, make sure that there is something you like going on and be prepared to spend a pleasant evening!
